It's free for 7 days but $4.95 after that.

Sign up as usual, but attempt to close the page when you come to the list of plans. They'll offer you a free trial instead of a trial for $4.95.

The $4.95 is definitely just a trial. Smartdiets is much more expensive than that per month.
