can anyone tell me a good place to help out at for charity? Id like for my 15 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son to help out also.

I haven't been on the site in a long time, but I remember VolunteerMatch.org as a good place to find local and online volunteer opportunities

If your kids want to help, that's nice too. One of my nephews started going on there when he was a teenager looking for online graphic arts jobs he could do in his spare time. He managed to build up a nice resume for himself plus get references and letters of recommendation for when he started looking for his first real job.

How about your community food pantry. They are usually manned by older retired volunteers and a couple of young people would be very welcome.

I'm having a hard time finding a decent volunteer opportunity myself. Some of the organizations out there make it unnecessarily difficult to get info, etc.
