Remembering Victims

R.I.P. to the 2200 plus souls that lost their lives 100 years ago today when the Titanic sank.  I've been watching the documentaries all weekend and find it fascniating, but yet sad.  Here is my question...

Do you think that it's right for people to go down and retrieve artifacts and bring them up to sell or put on display OR do you think that everything should be left alone as it is and look at the wreckage as a memorial?

I've watched a documentary about it the other night and relatives of people who died on that ship say to leave everything be. And I agree with that. People died there, it's a grave. And most people (I say most because some people actually do) don't go to graveyards and take things belonging to the dead.

I agree.  It is a grave.  It is the last place that these unfortunate individuals were laid to rest.  LET THEM BE!

I'll bet most of those people would be dead now even if that boat didn't crash.

I think they ALL would be dead, but that wasn't the question here.  SHOULD THE TITANIC BE RAISED?  I say no, let it be.
