Who's the best female comic?

There's not a lot of female comedians out there, but some of them are funny as hell.  Who do you think is the best female comic?

Todays comedians are going to have to do a lot of work before they  beat the queen of comedy in Lucille Ball.

I really enjoy chelsea handler on chelsea lately but i dont watch much comedy or comedians so wouldnt have much to compare to

I've watched some of Whitney Cummings' stuff after discovering her through her new show.  She's pretty funny!

 I dont find any these days that are any good.  Betty White seems to be one that I think is funny but she is not a stand up comic.   Carol Burnett was very good.

I have no idea but can only think of people like Carol Burnette, Lucille Ball and Gilda Radner and others from the old SNL.

Lucille Ball is the only female comedian that I will always enjoy watching. I don’t know anybody else who can hold a candle to her.

I really haven't seen very many acts from female comedians. One person I can think of though that usually makes me laugh is Wanda Sykes.

Whoopi Goldberg back in the 80's was hilarious.  And dirtier than the Diceman.

Gilda Radner was one of the funniest of modern times but no one has come close to Lucille Ball

Of course Lucille Ball was fantastic. I like Tina Fey now, and I like Ellen Degeneres' stand up.  In the 80s I liked Rita Rudner.
