We go every day because my husband loves walking around the grocery store and I can use the exercise too

1-2 times a month for me.  I live alone so it's easier for me to make fewer trips.  I tend to get most of the dry goods and cleaning/house supplies once every 4-5 weeks.  Perishables - fruits/vegetables/dairy - I'll make a trip about every 2 weeks to re-stock those.

I used to shop once per week, but found I do spend less with fewer trips - I read somewhere part of the reason is less impulse buying.  I also think it's due to better planning - one tends to buy less and makes sure they use up what they bought before the next trip.

About 5 to 6 times a month. I like to purchase fresh fruits and veggies, and if i forget anything it may be more. That's why it pays to have a planned grocery list prepared.

There just the two of us so we go once a week and spend between 50 and 80 dollars.
