Amazing Spider-Man

Does anyone have interest in seeing the new Spider-Man movie? How do you feel about Spider-Man using mechanical web shooters (like in the comics) instead of organic web?

I went to see this on Saturday night and I have to say that I liked the original with Toby Maguire better.  My friend with me told me that the web shooters were from the comic and I didn't know that, but I still liked Toby's organic web better.  I thought the lizard creature looked fake and terrible.  I much prefer Willem Defoe as the Green Goblin.  Thanks for letting me share.   :peace:

I went and saw it last weekend. I liked it. I liked the kid who played Peter better than Toby Maguire.

I saw it the other night....I like the story and graphics better than the first.  But; the new kid playing "spiderman" is no where near as good as Toby Maguire! :)

The creation of the web shooters and artificial web shows off how smart Peter really is.

I want to see this movie but my question is is the original characters in this movie?
The people from the previous movies are not in this one. This new Spider-Man movie is a reboot.

I saw it and loved it.  I think I liked it better than Sam Raimi's version.

I'm interested in seeing it, but only because I like these types of movies.  I'll probably just end up waiting to see it on blu-ray, though.  I didn't feel like another version of spider-man was necessary quite yet, so I'm not overly excited about it.

I haven't seen it yet, but would like to.  So far it has a 74% fresh rating on the Rotten Tomatoes site.  I normally consider anything over a 60% rating as probably being worth seeing at some point.
