CASHING YOUR CHECK
« on: July 19, 2012, 02:48:12 pm »
I'm still new here and I haven't checked out yet, but when I do check out I'm planning on getting a check sent. Where do you guys usually cash your check and how much do they charge? Thank you!!!

When I cash a check I normally use Mr. Payroll (charges 10% I think) or Wal Mart cash service (should be $3).  If you plan to cash out over $30, Wa Mart would be the cheaper option if you use either of these options or have them in your area.  Some (most) banks will even do them for free.

No one should pay to have a check cashed EVER. You can make a free savings account at most if not 99% of banks, they will cash checks for free...

I cash mine at my bank and they do not charge because I have a account with them. If you do not have an account, then WalMart will cash it for a small fee. I'm not quite sure how much, but it is not much or you can open up a paypal account. I hope this helps you out a little. Have a blessed day.
