I haven't been making it to 30 in a few months but I don't think it is to many. The trick is to find a post that you want to comment on so it don't seem like work. Come back and see if you have any replies and start a conversation. Set a goal of one per day or 2 post every other a month is a long time to make 30 post and for $3 why not. Good Luck

This is prob. a dumb question, it seems to be common sense but I'll ask anyway. The posts started over on the 1st correct? So since I missed the $3 bonus last month (it was my first month joining anyway, I joined in the middle of the month and didn't realize certain places didn't count towards the posts) as long as I post once a day in the correct places with a contributory post I just need to make 30 posts by the end of September to get credit,correct? Also, if you reach the 30 posts before the end of the month can you put in for your bonus before then or do you need to wait until the end of the month to get credit?

Those are valid questions.  Yes, it's at least 30 contributory posts in a calendar month needed to apply for the monthly posting bonus, (posts don't carry over, just to be clear).  If one reaches 30+ posts before the end of a month, they can apply at that time for the bonus, (which is generally paid the next month, though it can take up to the maximum of 65 days until payment).  This bonus will show as pending once three contributory posts are selected/submitted for that bonus.

I just figured since it takes a while for the bonus to be approved if I reach the 30 post limit before the end of the month I might as well apply for it and get a head start on getting approved. I like to post in the forum not just to get the 30 posts but also because it's a great way to communicate and get your questions answered.

You're welcome.  I'm not sure whether applying for the foum posting bonus early constitutes a head-start since that bonus is usually paid on/about the last day of a month regardless, (it may have more to do with when FC processes them).

While it does say it can take up to 65 days to credit, I've never had to wait that long.  I wouldn't complain about receiving $3, it's still free money.
