Yes, open start>program files go to mozilla. rest your mouse on firefox and right click. click on creat shortcut then rest your mouse on firefox(2) drag it to your desktop

and you are done.

How do you switch from IE to firefox?

just go to www.mozilla.com/firefox/ and click the "download Firefox-free" button.
thatll get it downloaded, and installation should be simple from there.

p.s. technically you aren't "switching IE to Firefox", as IE is the default browser
for MS Windows and cannot be deleted. You are just installing and using a different
web browser.

You guys should try Google Chrome, it is superior to all 3 of the major engines, it basically took all their qualities and put it into 1

i've had firefox before.
hated it though.
my computer was out of whack the entire time it was on here..

Good information. However, if you play games online like I do, on a lot of the sites you can only access the games if you are running IE. Firefox is not compatible for a lot of the game sites. BUT if it gets you your credits quicker than IE, I say GO FOR IT!

I have both on my computer, but I think firefox is much better that IE. I would recommend it to any one who is not using it. The only bad thing about it is that it is not compatible with all sites.

I have both ...But love Firefox. IE usually crashes frequently for unknown reasons

You guys should try Google chrome its very easy to use and works really fast, ive tried all three web browser and personally like this one better
