lucky is a nanbay conure he is a good bird sometimes he trys to bite me when you put your finger near the cage but i have to hold him and pet him alot and he gives me kisses :BangHead:

I think once your pet bird get to know you more it will be okay. Our bird pecked a lot and always moved away if we put hand in cage. Once our parakeet was a lil bigger was easy to handle and feed by hand. They don't grow much but they do get to know who cares and feed them. We also whistle a lot and enjoy some of the sounds our bird chirps when we come home and when we are talking. It's almost like we all are having a conversation. My son just loves him.

I used to have a bird that ate out of ur mouth all the time it was nasty but amazing how I trained him so quickly.  He never bit me but everybody else he did.

That is what I was thinking!  ;D I would never think someone named their bird 'Lucky'. Haha!!  :P
