CrowdFlower Task - Problems?

I usually do the CrowdFlower Task that pays 2 cents for flagging adult images.  I'm having a real hard time today with it.  Images that are supposed to be 100 per page are sparsely thrown throughout the page.  There are MANY GRAY BOXES with ZERO IMAGES in them.  When I submit that task, it's showing images that I SHOULD HAVE flagged that weren't even in my list!  I had a 100% score before all this started.  It's ruining my scores and chances to participate in that particular Task again.

Yeah those tasks are misleading and hard to actually get credit for.

Yeah, I tried that.  The images still weren't showing.  Never had a problem with those pages before but today seems to be really bad.  When the images popped up after submitting the task, instead of choosing "OK" and agreeing with it, I told them what was happening.  I just wonder if anybody really looks at those things.

on some of those that don't have images at all, i still flag them as inapropriate and they tend to always take. you could try it and see what happens

I've been having a problem with the  ireel task as well.  When I get to the part that asks you to check the box to verify that you have followed the instructions correctly, a message pops up saying something to the effect of "you have to search the term given" which I had already done in order to provide the information they were asking.  After several attempts using different browsers, I have given up on being credited for it.

Same here. The same thing is happening to me too. I have given up on it too after several attemts. Hope they fix it soon.

I too noticed that with the task for flagging images. The boxes are grey instead of showing the pics.

Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

Today the same thing happened with the Sunday task #7 for online gambling.     I've never had a problem with these kind of tasks in the past either.

The CrowdFlower Task can be a little inconsistant. Some are realively easy others are difficult for what is paid.

Still, in my opponion they are worth trying as every little bit helps.

I've learned with the CrowdFlower tasks to only choose the higher paying ones and limit the amount of time I spend on it.  I've been burned too many times by them by spending an hour working on them only to find out I've only earned pennies (or not received credit at all).  I still check the tasks daily but if I can't complete it within a few minutes I just cut my losses and move on

If you go to the CrowdFlower dashboard, there is an online forum there that you can post about issues with the tasks. FC does not maintain them so they can't fix the issues we may run into.

There are a few posts right now about the issue with the ireel and blackjack ones. It seems like it was fixed for a bit, but it's back to not working. You can post there with your ID number and the job number for direct help.

i don't like the fact that there is a task to do that on this website....morally wrong!
