Can ANYONE please tell me what Obama did right?

Do you meaning during the debate or in his presidency?

If you mean during the debate, not much. Mitt Romney won the debate without question but understanding what a debate is, that doesn't mean much. A debate is about winning a verbal sparring match and not much else. Fact checkers, after the fact, determine if your hands were wrapped in plaster.

If you mean during his presidency...
We're on the road to recovery after an economic meltdown
20+ months of job growth
GM is alive
Osama Bin Laden is dead
DADT is gone
Troops are coming home
Established a credit card "bill of rights"...

...but there's really no point in compiling a list even further because to even ask that question I assume you plug your ears and cover your eyes when anyone points out any accomplishments of the president.

Now he did all this at the begining of his term right?

My question is: If Romney has such great solutions to our problems, why not try and implement them durning the last four years instead of waiting till he gets elected? :sad1:

Of course Mitt won the debate, please remember that Obama is clueless without the teleprompter. Every time he makes speeches with the teleprompter he makes mistakes with his facts. He was definately uncomfortable with Mitt, because had the facts to deal with Obama. A president cannot lead from behind and spending 5 trillion in 4 years is heading to destruction for America.

He was definately uncomfortable with Mitt, because had the facts to deal with Obama. A president cannot lead from behind and spending 5 trillion in 4 years is heading to destruction for America.

::) To be a state senator, senator, democratic nominee for president, and finally, president, he wiped the floor with people in debates. So the whole he-needs-a-teleprompter nonsense is old, lame, and inaccurate. Please just stop. Also, as I mentioned before, "facts" don't come into play until after the debate when the things that both candidates said are put under scrutiny. So please stop being a mindless cheerleader.

He did some earlier and some later. I don't know what point you're trying to make.

My point is that he did the majority closer towards the end, maybe to make himself look good and try and get the votes for his next term? something many are saying as well not just I.

It's kinda hard to implement anything when you have no authority to do so. I hope that wasn't a serious question.

Uh, no. You do what you can when you can do it. 20+ months of job growth is not something you "decide" to do. You implement policies and wait until they take hold. You have to find Osama before you can kill him. The timing of that is not exactly his choice.

The "many" that you speak of (btw, that has as much sway as "some people say...") must be morons given that he's had a republican controlled congress for at least the second half of his presidency and they've blocked everything he's tried to do. So if he's gotten anything done later in his term, that's even more impressive.

K read the title and wanted to reply. I watched the first 25 minutes on youtube, then husband kicked me off laptop to play his facebook game. From what I saw it looked like Mitt Romney did an amazing job, but like I said havent cuaght the rest of it yet. Really hoping Mitt Romney wins the election. I think Obama was thinking he had it in the bag for some reason. It sounded like he was extremly unprepared for the event. He keep wanting to attack Romney like he does in his adds, but with Romney right there to defend himself Obama didn't have a leg to stand on. Also, I know how to read when someone is lying. Obama's body movement and eyes defiantly made him look like a lier. Romney seemed to be telling the truth the whole time. Like I said though I only cuaght the first 25 minutes so fare.
