What is the last movie you watched?

and what did you think of it?

For me it was the original Cape Fear - I saw the remake with Robert Deniro and I loved but the original is great as well.

The ORIGINAL 'Cape Fear' starred Robert Mitchum!! In my opinion a better picture than the Dinero version.

The last 'major' movie I saw was 'Captain Phillips'. I like the flick but I think it was a little less than I expected. On a 10 point scale I would rate it as 6.

Yeah I think Robert Dinero overacted in comparison to Robert Mitchum. I like both though.

After a renting 3 movies from a local BP because the EZDVD Rental had been removed ---- grrrr had to pay $2.50 per movie the last one was a winner.  This is 40.  There were parts that those of us who are reaching 40, are or have been that will crack you up.  Course it had it's corny parts too ...  Among that group of 3 were World War Z with Pitt.  I didn't know it was a zombie movie - when all was said and done though the story line was worth watching the zombie scenes.  If you are a Whalberg/Rock fan - don't waste your money on the movie they made together - OIY It changed the way I feel about both of them.  I can't even remember the name of it.

I went to 'Gravity' last night. It wasn't that good of a movie.  Although some of my friends liked it, I thought it was boring. I like Sandra Bullock and George Clooney...but not sure what would've made it better.  Maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Weren't they the only actors in the whole movie?

I watched a promo copy of 'Ender's Game' last night. Not to my liking despite good performances by Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley. This film is definitely made for the early teen audience and in that venue it will probably be well received. A little to childish for adults, but not so bad you could not tolerate watching it with your age appropriate young ones.

Take This Waltz on Netflix. I almost stopped watching it in the beginning, but it turned out to be very artsy and intriguing.
