I do not suffer from R.L.S but I know someone who deal with it on a daily basic.  I wish you the best with your pregnancy and hope you will find a solution to your problem.

I was diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrom about 10 years ago, however I am not sure that is what it was cause now they are saying Fibromyalgia I think the legs was the beginning of the symptoms??  Good luck on the pregnancy.

not officially dx by a dr....but I'm certain I have it...but until I have insurance and can afford to go to the dr...won't be positive.

I assume we are talking about this when trying to sleep.  I don't mean anything personally, but i just think they go overboard giving names to things when no real specific problem exists.  If you have trouble sleeping then I would think it might have something to do with being pregnant.  Either way, good luck with it and the baby.

I don't but my hubby does, It is a pain for me. We finally had to get twin beds, because he was kicking me in his sleep.  He has tried some meds and nothing realy helps hi. Once in awhile it wakes him up it is so bad.

My mom suffered from this because of her Diabetes and perifial neuropthay (I know i mispelled that  LOL )  She took Neurotin however that is spelled  sorry! not sure what would help with being prego, i hope it subsides and gets better for you at least the remainder of the pregnancy till u can be on something!!!

Restless Leg Syndrome is not about having trouble sleeping nor is it about being pregnant. It's a condition in which when the person tries to relax the legs get a creepy, crawly kind of feeling over then. The only way to relive this is constant moving of the legs. Medication can also help in some cases. This is not a made up problem.

To the OP, have you told your doctor about this? I have it and they were able to give me something to help with it while I was pregnant.

I believe I had it for a while, sometime in the past eight years, but haven't been bothered by it for some time.  Couldn't tell you what I did.  I may have been associated with the toxins in the place I lived in.  I'm healing from a lot this year, now that I'm in a better home.

My instincts tell me that hot baths and gentle, rhythmic exercise would help circulation.  You might also look into what kinds of detoxing you can do, such at detox tea, citrus fruits, etc.  It can't hurt and would probably benefit your baby.  :peace:/color]
