Administrator:  Thank you for your post.  Besides being a rational explanation of your position, your words do have a ring of truth.  I just wish there were some way to end this mess, but that is sometimes a result of freedom of speech.  The difference between the two factions is that, from all I've read, most Christians are simply posting to share their experiences or to give a favorite Bible verse of the day.  The other side believes it is okay to bash them as much as possible.

That's YOUR opinion though, my opinion is that the "other side" is simply posting rational opposition to unfounded beliefs.  It's simply a matter of perspective.

I think we all have a right to not believe in something or someone but we also  have to answer for all we do here on earth
jesus is real no matter what we think but one day we all have to leave this dirt suit and face ALL MIGHTY GOD,in JESUS
name so no matter what you think ,you better KNOW the truth, and thats jesus christ..AMEN.im just saying...

I agree with you about that. The people that don't understand will have to someday (like judgement day) everyone well be judged on their action in this world.

Both of these constitute unfounded religious opinions in that they are based entirely upon "faith" and a lack of substantive evidence to support such faith, (which makes it a blind/irrational belief).  Just as anyone has the option to hold irrational superstitious beliefs, so too do others have the option to eschew such unfounded 'beliefs' or, oppose them rationally.

How To Handle F9's continual,nonstop,24/7 Christian Persecution On FusionCash

My only observation is,if we know someone is here for the sole purpose of trolling others and provoking them to respond, shouldn't said troll be removed instead of telling the multitude not to "feed" him?

Admin did not expressly state that those opposing religious propagandizing and contentious provocations, (e.g., 'trolling'), were trolling others.  Nor was it stated that trolling someone by 'nym in a subject title is permitted, (it's not, under FC's no calling-out policies).

So its perfectly fine for christians to post bible verses and preach there faith, ect. but if someone challenges their religion or gives there logical assesment of it or opinions ect, then that is persecution?? They are wrong for sharing there views, but you are not? Get over yourselves.

I would be interested to see how the christian posters that complain about opposition would react if a muslim came on here and started quoting the quran and talking about muhummad and allah!? Probably would do the same thing they complain about but worse.

That's the one-sided hypocritical and sanctimonious belief held by the majority of the more zealous xtian adherents to blind faith.  They want FC to be a platform for  unopposed xtian proselytizing and have virtually flooded the Off Topic forum with dozens of specious religious threads.

I would be interested to see how the christian posters that complain about opposition would react if a muslim came on here and started quoting the quran and talking about muhummad and allah!? Probably would do the same thing they complain about but worse.

Doubtless they'd give lip-service to a 'any religious believer can post here' notion however, the 'daily wiccan book of shadows excerpts' thread in Off Topic shows some of their actual intolerance.

“Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.”

Exactly!  Thanks for sharing!

You forgot to mention that it was a *cough* talking *cough* donkey.  Credible, much?  ::)

Not credible at all, but they'll keep on pretending.

They've got to keep pretending; facing their fears without religious superstition isn't an option for the faith-blinded.
