Let go of past

"If you don't let go of the past, you can't go onto to the future".  Holding onto past only deters you from going forward.  Let go, and start each day as a new day.  Just my thoughts for the day.  Anyone agree with me?

 yes you need to let go of the past and move forward you don't need to forget but move on and start doing things you love to do and always stay positive and that's my feeling when it  comes to letting go.

I agree.  I find that I'm happy when I live in the present moment.

  it is good to live in the present,but i beleive the past has shaped us into the people we are today.

I agree, You have to let go of the past or you will not be happy.

I believe in living in the present because the past  is gone and there's nothing you can do to change it.  I also believe what someone else said about the past helping to shape us, I believe the past teaches us lessons and hopefully we learn those lessons otherwise we are doomed to repeat them.
