just one day
« on: October 17, 2012, 12:19:11 pm »
I would love just one day to sleep and I mean all day.  I would feel way rested and probably be more active.  I have been so busy with other people lately that I just have no time for me or to enjoy the thinks I love to do.  I am way tired and feel like I have been going non stop for that last few weeks.   The baby has decided it would be fun to get a new sleeping schedule as well...he is in bed by 6 and always up at 4 am and sometimes 3 am ready to rock and roll but mommy is not ready for play time at 3 am let alone 4...next it's been the schools and the kids and omg just everything keeps piling up on me when does is ever slow down or stop...please just one day to sleep that is all I need so I can keep up with life.  Thank you

I hear you, I would love to sleep a whole day myself as a mom of five with a newborn under a month and a son who is 12 months together with 3 pre school age kids I don't find myself with much sleep or a social life other than blogs and facebook. It would be nice to sleep a whole day but I know it's wishful thinking.

Having been a person who suffers from chronic insomnia, I know what you mean.  I use to go about my day on maybe 3 hrs. of sleep.  And that wasn't straight sleep, as I would often wake up, stay awake for awhile and then go back to sleep. That went on for abou15 yrs.  Now however I take Tamazepam and sleep like a baby.  I love sleep.

You guys will be able to catch up on your sleep in about 18 years!  But like you said, if it's not one thing keeping you awake it's the other.

Well while working individuals get a daily break and lunch some of us don't ever get the small break away for us time let alone have time to eat..but that is ok.  I will have to pay somebody to watch the kids while I sleep all day long...

Cheer Up Moms!  It does change.  As teenagers, you will have problems getting them out of bed  ;D
