Do you prefer talking or texting? I prefer texting. Texting is more convenient for me. I dont like talking on phone, talking on the phone is boring to me.

I prefer talking instead of texting because you can have a focused two-way conversation and I enjoy listening to people's voice tones.

Texting. I really hate talking on the phone. Cell phones always sound terrible and I don't have a home phone.

Both are good to use and I like it...but I prefer texting because it is more convenient and I am not really a big talker on the phone; I am a shy person. For me I just like to text while I am on the go.

Texting is very impersonal, but it is my preference because I'm so busy most of the time.

I don't really like talking on the phone so I tend to avoid it. Some conversations end up faster just calling instead of repeatedly texting back to clear things up though so I deal with it

Depending  on what I'm doing.
And... if my headset is charged... chatting w hubby when he is driving... (otr  trucker ).
Texting if I'm watching  tv.. or knitting.

Technology will never replace in-person communication no matter how advanced it gets.  You really can't get the feel of a person unless you actually speak with them.  I don't like talking on the phone either, except for small talk or handling business.
