Mangos? Muskmelon?
« on: November 04, 2012, 08:24:14 am »
When I was growing up in Indiana, my family (grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles) called green peppers "Mangos" and cantelope "Muskmelon"....I never hear those terms any more.... does anyone else remember them?

My family calls cantaloupe muskmelons also, not the pepper mango though. Mangoes were mangoes
