Larry Hagman had filmed several episodes of Season 2 of TNT's "Dallas" when he died on Friday, and according to a new report, producers of the show will give him a befitting send-off.

Sad to hear about this news.  He surely was one of the great TV iconic actors.  I too was wondering about the new Dallas reboot - as I heard season 1 did very well.  I'm sure the writers will do him justice.

As a kid, I remember him on I Dream of Jeannie.  Then on Dallas.  He will be missed.

We used to watch both of those shows.

We found full episodes of I Dream of Jeannie online on YouTube.

It was so sad to see that Larry Hagman had died --R.I.P. JR --i was wonder how far they have taped Dallas and how they will take him off the show--i don't think they could ever recast him--i heard that the new Dallas was good and just as scandalous!!! He will be missed

Larry Hagman, the North Texas native who played the conniving and mischievous J.R. Ewing on the TV show Dallas, died Friday at a Dallas hospital. He was 81.

JR Ewing, the villian everyone loved to hate. I loved watching Dallas. Larry Hagman was a great actor, he will be missed. RIP JR!

Besides his acting he did a lot for many charaties.  He was a big leader in  getting people to live green.  His home in the Malibu Hills produced more energy than it used and he donated the extra to low income families.  He will be missed for a lot of reasons.  R.I.P.

I had such a crush on him as a very little girl when he played on I Dream Of Jeannie!  I wanted to be Jeannie too with the majic and the little living room in the bottle.  LOL   He was such a nice guy in I Dream Of Jeannie that I always had mixed emotions when he was on Dallas.   My Dad used to look a lot like him too.  I never got to see the new Dallas.  Can't imagine him being replaced -- seems they would have to write around the loss and make a dramatic moment out of his loss.  I have the feeling he would have got a kick out of that.  A replacement would just never be the same to anyone that ever saw the show, I would think.
