Just watched the Amazing Spiderman the other night. Not bad.
I didn't think I'd like it, but it really wasn't that bad.  Thanks!  :)

I just saw Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2 with my girlfriend last weekend. I thought it was pretty interesting. I'm no die hard fan of Twilight whatsoever but it was still enjoying to watch. Out of all of the Twilight movies, this one was the best because it had much more action. I find action essential in any movie  ;D.
My daughter and I are definitely going to go see that one!

Thanks, everyone, so far!  There have been some great suggestions and I have a lot to watch, now!  Keep them coming!  :)

I can totally understand that!  My kids are grown now, but I rarely saw tv or movies when they were little.  Except for Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, etc.  Then when they got older, we had Friday Family Nights with age appropriate movies, popcorn, games, etc.  I would take them once in awhile to the movies - we had the Dollar Theater - that's all we could afford.

Really nothing I'd recommend running out and seeing right now.  Then again, I'm kinda critical about movies since most of the time they seem to be just the same thing over and over again. I want to see Argo and Life of Pi, but I doubt I'll see them anytime soon.

I rented Magic Mike on pay per view...it was the best movie I've seen since Bridesmaids.

I took my daughter to see Wreck It Ralph a few weeks ago, and am currently watching Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

If you like history, Lincoln was fantastic. If not, you will be like my 13 year old who was bored senseless.

Huh!! I didn't like the movie The Amazing Spiderman. I much perfer the older 3 Spider-mans with Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst. Andrew Garfield in my opinion acted too cocky and made Spiderman look bad. Spiderman was all about being humble and taking responsibility in the first 3 movies. I missed Mary Jane too. Peter and Mary Jane made a great love story.

Well, to answer your question~ Last night I watched the movie Lawless. It was excellent. Very compelling story, which is true by the way and I loved seeing Shia LaBeouf. He was such eye candy....lol.  :o  Anyways it's set in the Great Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, and a bootlegging gang (the true story of the 3 Bondurant brothers) is threatened by a new deputy and other authorities who want a cut of their profits. I really liked it! Great movie! I recommend watching it. It just came out yesterday for sale and rental.

Thank you!  I had wondered about Lawless when it first came out, but never went to watch it.  The story-line definitely is intriguing and suspenseful.  I'll see if it has come to Netflix or Hulu.  :)
