Really love thrift stores! My favorite is a local Women's Christian Fellowship thrift store that has a 50 cent and $1 room.

I volunteer at a local thrift the benefits our local scholarship fund. I found some very good deals there. My sisterinlaw got 2 100 dresses for my nieces for 10 bux! They are definately worth checking out. If you can consign items too that is a great way to make extra cash! :peace:

I live next door to a Deseret Industries.  That's a thrift store owned and operated by the LDS (Mormon) religion.  I'm amazed at what I can find there.  I like quirkie and unusual things and I'm definitely able to find things like that there.

Have a great day!

oh yes! i rarely shop at the mall for clothes, anymore.
you can find just about everything you need at the
thrift store. most of the time it's in like-new condition!
i've found things with the tags still on it, too.

i LOVE going on half-off days, too. those are the best!

I absolutely love thrift shops.  Particularly the local Goodwill.  The stores are always clean, the staff is always friendly and we save so much money in there.  It's so need to find things for such bargains.  It really makes me feel good.  Even my kids love shopping in there.  My youngest has one to many stuffed animals thanks to that place though.  Funny thing we packed up a box of stuffed toys to store in my Mom's basement.  Took the box over bout' a week before my daughters b-day.  She was opening her gifts and ended up getting 3 stuffed animals.  2 of which were duplicate webkinz that we had just taken down to the basement.  Ahhhhhhh  :BangHead:
