Coffee? Weeeee!

i'm NOT a coffee drinker. i don't like the taste and it basically
has to be sugar/milk water before i'll drink it. i had some time
to kill this morning before work, so on a whim i stopped and got
a cup of coffee as a little pick-me-up...

"pick-me-up" is an understatement! i was hyper ALL DAY.
my co-workers couldn't stop laughing at me. i was a bit out of
character, but the funny part was, i enjoyed it

my coffee loving friends have always told me i was missing out
and now i understand what they mean

      Coffee has too much caffeine. Try some hot chocolate at least you are getting some calcium.

I love coffee and I drink mine as coffee milk, too.  This is the only way I can drink the coffee. I sometimes make hot milk with a tea bag and this is good, too.

Your experience reminds me a of a King of the Hill episode where Hank is taking a commercial truck to pick up furniture from him mother's to take back to Texas.  Son Bobby goes along, and to commemorate their status as "truckers" Hank gives Bobby his first cup of coffee.  Bobby's reaction? "I DON'T THINK I CAN EVER GO BACK TO COCOA!!!"

What brand of coffee is that?! Cause I drink coffee regularly (out of habit) and never get a buzz...Not even the first time I ever drank it. Am I weird???

I had a similar experience with coffee from a coffee shop.  It was an iced coffee beverage that was delicious, but I was climbing the walls all day.

I like a smal cup in the mornings to get started and then i am done. Hubby drinks it all day. Man if i did i would not sleep at night. I never drank coffee until i started working a night from 10pm until 6am. Boy those were long nights. But i did not want to be at home at night with my ex. He was so mean when he would be home. So i lerned to drink some coffee. My brother can't stand it.

I never drank coffee until I was in college.  And then for some reason I liked this generic instant kind--maybe because I was trying to save money and I didn't have a coffee pot.  I don't drink it everyday anymore, but I need to get a lot done today, so maybe I will see if I can get a caffeine buzz!!!

I always drink coffee black, but if I drink too much, it makes me jittery.  I just drink one large cup in the morning and very occasionally drink one in the afternoon if I haven't slept the night before, etc.

I like to have a very sweet cup of coffee in the morning. Just one cup any more than that gives me an upset stomach. The only time I ever got hyper from coffee was when I had a couple expresso shots.

it was just a small french vanilla latte from mcdonalds!
i wouldn't say you're weird, maybe you've always had a
high tolerance level or a fast metabolism to begin with
so the coffee doesn't give you as much of a kick?

me, on the other hand, no so much! lol.
