Ha!  Yeah, I've got one, and he just doesn't come around on the Holidays.  There's only so much you can try to make amends, but when the other party wants to remain bullheaded, oh well.  I'm not the type to fret over it anymore.  I tried, I made my peace with it, and it's now in the past and old news.  Move on, you can't change people and it's not worth making yourself sick over it.  In my opinion, it's THEIR loss.

Most problems come about when people try to change other people. If someone acts a certain way, either live with it or let them be. Only when they start bothering you directly does it become your problem.

Unfortunately there comes a point where you just have to wait for the person to decide that he or she needs to change his or her behavior. Until then you will just have to wait and hope. :/

I have learned that sometimes its better to just ignore the person and enjoy the people you do get along with otherwise you will spend all of your time being miserable. It's not worth it.

I usually consider the person and walk away before things can turn ugly. Yes there are a few in my family that are a lot bullheaded. I just wan't to   be left alone, will not take sides with anyone either. It is called get over it or live with it. To me it is just not worth it to argue.
