Lord God, I pray that this day my conduct will be like that you have set for your clergy: Above reproach. May I be this day temperate, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, and not violent, but gentle. May I never be quarrelsome, always seeking peace even in disagreement, and may my love be for you and my fellow man, not for money. I pray that I manage my own household well. If I have any children in my charge, I pray to that I may take the time to see that they are in control and behaving with proper respect. Grant me a good reputation with outsiders, so that I will not fall into disgrace and the snare of the devil. This I pray through my Lord Christ, whose love and attention ever gave us an example of conduct,

And we will have a happy earn new year and that we can don't have to pay for his Obama is expensive healthcare that will bankrupt everybody!!

His health care plan will stop doctors from practicing because they can't afford to take what he's willing to pay them. They can't afford to even pay for their college bills that they all on what his plan will pay them.

My prayer today is just simply thanking God for being able to welcome the new year 2013.  I always thank God before the New Year approaches and then I really, really, thank him for allowing me to be alive to see another Year, which in itself is a blessing, too. As there are so many who want be able to welcome in the new year. I love God truly. Amen!

I pray for the family of a 10 year old girl who lost her battle with osteosarcoma on New Years Eve.  She fought a courageous battle for two years, enduring losing her leg and immense pain.  I followed her mother's journal entries on Caring Bridge.  Her mother had delivered several sermons at our church.  I had never met her daughter, but her mother's posts were so powerful, we felt we knew her.  She always signed her messages with Live, Alyssa, Live.  Her post to announce her journey to Heaven said Live, Alyssa, where you can be free.  Dear Lord, please hold her family in your loving arms and comfort them.  Amen
