Who is you favorite 80's Rock Band

I have to throw Foreigner into the mix, because they had  great run in the '80's rock era. Genesis also deserves a mention, but I don't think anyone could pick just one. Besides, most of the bands mentioned here made their mark in more than one decade. Rush was one of the greatest bands ever musically, as was Yes. Journey had a signature sound, especially while Steve Perry was the frontman. Wow! How can you pick just one?

Favorite?? I don't think I can narrow down to just one. I love all the 80's hair bands. Def Leppard, Motley Crue, GNR, they are all so fun to listen to. They should all just stay retired though. All attempts at "comebacks" are pretty pathetic, lol

I never really listened to very much rock music, but I love 80s music.  I tend to listen to 80s music over anything else.

I'm going to go with Damn Yankees. That way, I cover Styx, Night Ranger, Ted Nudgent (derp), and the drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd. "Can you take me high enough..."
