Redbox?
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:46:18 pm »
I wonder if a site like Redbox might want to be a partner with FC?

They give a free movie rental for signing up for their emails and have other promos n things.. I wonder if they might pay like $0.50ish for signing up instead of giving the rental code thats worth over a dollar or in addition too it, to recruit members.

Just an idea.

I have heard good things about REDBOX, I haven't ventured in to using them just yet, but partnering with FC would be awesome and I would think a good boost for them.

That's an awesome idea! I love red box. And seems as if blockbuster and netflix rentals are partners so that would be cool if redbox was too. I use netflix but also redbox. I really love redbox!!

That sounds great, and Redbox does offer in other areas as well so this would be somewhat of an improvement.

Already a redbox member this wouldn't apply to me but it does sound like a good idea.  For 1.28 after taxes for a movie you can't beat it and every weekend I get 50 cents off a rental sent to me.  I don't know how they can afford such cheap prices but I know blockbuster stores are hurting from them.  Just seen another one close up shop not too far from me.

I agree it is a great deal to be able to get rent movies quick and fast and a reasonable price.  By coming up with this concepts is put Hollywood Video and Blockbuster out of business and it also took customer service reps jobs.  They can use some improvements; making sure that all their machines are checked daily to make sure they are operating correctly, sending out more free offers and discounts, and last but not least making sure that the videos that are turned in are the right ones.  (my mom rented a movie and it turned out to be an adult video)

Doesn't Redbox have a service where you can go online and reserve your movie in advance? I wonder if it would be feasible to try to get that added in the shopping section, for people to earn a little whenever they rent from Redbox? Just a thought.

It's actually kind of sad that Redbox and services like Netflix are pricing physical video stores out of business, but I won't miss Blockbuster.  :angry7: There are still 2 Mom & Pop places in my area though, they both kind of found specialized markets that Redbox doesn't service. Hoping they stick around, there should be room for both and sometimes it's nice to have the option of browsing for something you wouldn't have thought of before you went in the store. Don't take my Redbox though!

Why this conversation?  Is fusion looking for a partner?  I thought you were not supposed to be talking about other sites.  :sad1:

Nice idea. But then what happens to all of us who are already Redbox fans? I'm finding that problem right now with Netflix. A lot of sites will give you lots of credits, etc; if you sign up. But if you are already a subscriber you're out of luck on any promotions for it >:(

It would be cool if Redbox hooks up with Fusion Cash.  It means more earning opportunity for us!
