STIMULUS PAYMENT WHERE R U?

I'm confused....I thought that we would be getting another stimulus check around this time of the year....I've heard that the stimulus payment was inside my income tax return....that sux !   I barely had a return!  That lil' $500 check came in handy last year.  Has anyone heard anything about stimulus checks being mailed or direct deposited to us later on this year?  Right now the only thing that has been getting stimulated around here are the bill collectors!  Seems they have been going at it XTRA vigorously!

the stimulus payment from last year (the second half) was put into your refund check when you did your taxes.... the "obama" stimulus package is being put into your paycheck every week... (it's about $13 per week more) to a total of $400

the only checks that are going out this year are to those on ssi or disabled vets (a $250 check)

I haven't heard anything about a stimulus payment but, if we do get one it will help out wonderful in my book  I really could have one right.

That's right, what if you don't have a paycheck? If you're on unemployment, you do receive $25/week (on your off-pay week) but what of us that did not qualify for unemployment or have exhausted their benefits?  What recourse do we have?

I was under the impression that the stimulus check was going to be disbursed around this time of the year as well. I did not know they are placing it into the paycheck instead. I thought the increase in pay was a change in taxes. I guess I was all lost. Guess that's what I get for not watching the news as much as I should.

the stimulus had two part (for paychecks) the first was lowering you taxes (a little) then over a 6 month period giving you $400... this figures out to around $13 per week...... i personally don't find that to be too stimulating...

13 dollars a week isnt that big of a deal,, a big chunk would make more of a difference in somones life, like if you need new tires for your car,, i mean 13 dollars is only going to give you like a quarteer tank of gas extra,,,,how disapponinting

Great. I lost my job nearly 3 months ago, and I've been on the lookout for a stimulus paycheck to help me out -- the fact that I don't have a job really helps stimulate me. Thanks Obama.

 :sad1 I am disabled, on social security, and ssi.. I had my notice that I would get one too.. AND THEN>>> I got a letter saying since I owe the government for student loans,{ I can't work, so I can't pay it back,}they were going to KEEP IT ! So, if you owe gov. student loans, you will NOT get a check.

Mr. Obama's "great" plan puts your stimulus checks into your checks each time you are paid. Then, when you have to pay income taxes, you have to pay ALL OF THE STIMULUS you were given PLUS taxes on that stimulus, so really the Obamessiah is really bullsh*tting every single american by taxing them their rent money. Obama's tax cuts are just an extra tax. It sure looks like its helping the economy. It seems like you can't help but admit Bush was smart in that idea of his.

you r in error on one point..... the stimulis payments that r put into our checks are tax free money..... it's not counted as income so its not taxed.....

Apparently you didn't pay attention to the specifics of the tax "cut". It is infact taxed.

the tax cut isnt as much as he pretended it was going to be..... but the stimulus is given to us through lowering the amount taxed in our check... leaving us about $13 more every week.... it ends up being tax free money...

i agree that the way it is done is deceptive, because alot of people think that their taxes have been significantly reduced... which just isn't the case....
