How about a feedback section to rate advertisers?
« on: June 05, 2013, 08:52:30 am »
I'm thinking about something similar to the Free Lunch Room where the people who were
presented with an offer would get rated based on how well they completed the offer..failed or did
an excellent job and then the one presenting the offer would also get rated as to whether or not they paid you
for completing the offer as well as the satisfactory level of working with the person that presented the offer.

Could something like this be done in Fusion Cash
Could we rate the advertisers based on how upfront with us they are about charging our credit card the correct amount
and not trying to get both the payment for the trial amount and the monthly amount for the product upfront without our approval?

Also, could there be a rating system on how satisfied or not we were with the product?

Basically, I feel that there should be a rating system on the advertisers refunding us as well.

One last thought, there should also be a rating system on how well we were able to get through to customer service.

Keep in mind, they PAY for advertising. This is NOT a popularity contest.

Isn't the purpose of advertising the product or services is to gain notoriety and to become well known as a company
and make their product a household name?

So basically what it boils down to is that I appreciate your response and thank you for it but I'm a
person that like to debate things.

So I disagree with you in regards to your statement that it's not a popularity contest because it is.  These  businesses
on Fusion Cash are competing against each other to get their products or services into our homes.

I don't shy away from a good debate either.

Advertising is NOT competing with other advertisers, it's trying to get inside your prospective customers head no matter what the other advertisers do.

If you come up with a good enough campaign, it will shine above all the others no matter how many there are.

The other factor to consider, is the advertisers on AdHitz are mostly not big companies, they are people just like you and I that think they have an opportunity that would appeal to Fusioncash members. Most of them will not have enough money to advertise long enough to use it for branding purposes.

I agree with bjohnson and oldbuddy on this one.  you both make valid points.  a feedback section would be something interesting to do and something that I would like to do, but at the same time, it would be a waste of time probably.  it wouldn't do any good.  it would mostly just be something that we could all do to share our opinions.

I like the idea, I know advertisers is where the money comes from but some are good and some are bad. from someone looking at the ads someone needs to know about the bad.

I like everybody's post responses, all are very good and I agree to all of them, very valid points you all made. Personally A feedback to rate the advertisers is a very good idea, and yet at the same time if we all rated them and even if they took a look at the responses I really don't think they would even care what we all thought, they have their own opinions on their advertising and what they put out there is what they consider the best out there to offer and since they put there own time and money into researching and money to air them that is all that matters really to themselves. After all it is their money not ours and they will air anything that they feel will make them a profit and regain some of the money back that cost them for research and airing of products they show.

This thread made me do a double take this morning.  I had a dream last night that I found an awesome 20 cent task and it was watching commercials and explaining to the advertiser why it was a good commercial or not.  Kinda funny to come across this post.

I have to agree with those who said it would probably be fruitless to rate the advertisers.  While it would be interesting for us, I don't know that it would do much good.  Every advertiser works hard on their campaigns and they use surveys to see how certain ideas would work.  I also worry that "rating" the advertisers would lead to "bashing" which is contrary to FC's policy.

.... Competition ... Debate ... Fuel ... I loved reading the posts, trying to follow the dialog, as well as tring to get in the heads of innovative "out of the box thinkers" ... Creativity not only attracts but often "pays!" ... Companies/Advertisers love good reviews! But, only when they equate to greater revenues/profits!  But, I can strongly see Oldbuddies point it is not a popularity contest and one does not want to upset advertisers with such things as "negative reviews or comments".  :peace:

some of those issues end up being addressed and posted in the offers thread. Which ones paid, and people generally open up and share if they had poor or bad experiences in that thread as well, sort of like a forewarning alarm system to other members. At the same time if people have had successes they generally will share them there as well. Even though there is not a number or grading system in place, if the advertisers were interested, they probably could ask for access to those comments. I think it should be more beneficial to the Admins and to the marketing people of FC in order to get a feel for which ones are working out favorably and which ones are not. If the advertisers and vendors do not have to pay up front but only when there is a success, it would seem as long as they do their part all should run smoothly. However, if the particular offer, say a video either does not load or does not credit or a string of surveys don't credit, then FC and the Admins should be able to make the decision to discontinue doing business or partnering with the offending party.
