we usually cookout at my mother-in-law's with close family,
so we'll probably be doing that on the 4th.

i'll probably make crockpot spinach artichoke dip. YUMMY!
and maybe patriotic-themed sweets like cupcakes or something.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

Probably my sons will grill out depends upon the weather.  It has been raining here in Central Florida every single day so like I said depends upon what happens on the 4th.  It wouldn't seem right not to grill but can't do it in the rain lol.

You bet.  It's a tradition.  We always have burgers, dogs, elbow macaroni salad, baked beans, corn on the cob etc.  But this year I've got a hanker-in for brats too.  I mentioned it to my hubby and he said he would be cooking our neighbor's (his brother and family) food on our grill too since they threw there's out this year and haven't replaced it.  So I dunno if I'll get my sausage since our coals can only go so far on our little table top grill.

Yes...this year we're planning a family get-together. My hubby will be setting up a bbq grill.  Not sure what everyone will be bringing. But I think corn on the cob, steaks, shrimp, chicken, and various veggies.

I have to work all day long so will not have any plans.  Oh well, at least I have a job.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.
