When you purchase at stores, what method of purchasing do you like most?

I usually use my debit card. That way I never have to worry about not having enough cash.

I like to use my debit card, so it comes right out my account.  I have heard that using a credit card is safer against hackers.  Not sure if this is correct.  Maybe someone out there knows?

I like to use my debit card. However, I keep my checkbook in my purse ever since the incident in which a place of business card reader was broken and they were only accepting cash or checks.

I use my debit card ninety five percent of the time and my credit card the other five percent.  I rarely, if ever, use cash...too easy to lose or get stolen and it always leaves a doubt in my mind as to how it was spent.  Lately I have been using my debit card to fill up a grocery market card because five percent of my purchases get rewarded back to my daughter's soccer account.  At another grocery store I am able to use my grocery market card to purchase gift cards (ITunes/Red Robin/Nordstroms...etc.) and get five percent put back into my daughter's soccer account.  My kids have gotten so expensive that I need to figure out ways, like this, to cut back on their expenses or save on them at least.

I like cash for security reasons, but usually use my credit card bc I get cashback.

Well - I always used cash or check til my bank decided to change their policy.
I never had a debit card, now they require 5 debit transactions per month or
they charge a $10 fee.
Money Hungry is what I say about that.

I'm a cash-only girl unless it's a big ticket item. Then I'll use my credit card. I use my debit card only rarely.  ::)

Sometimes I will use my credit card if I know I'll get a discount for using it.

I use my debit card just because its so easy to just swipe it really quick rather than pulling out and counting and keeping up with cash..

It depends on the items, I use cash and use my card as a backup.
