name brand shoes vs walmart?

I normally buy my daughter one name brand pair of sneakers a year usually from a discount shoe store that has reasonable prices for name brands, then for summer and play shoes I usually buy them at walmart.

Wall mart shoes suck they dont last as long as nikes or adidas Dudee!!

I think any shoe, as long as it fits well, is fine for kids.  I like name brand shoes for myself, but then my feet aren't growing!

I have never really purchased shoes from Wal-Mart since I have a very narrow foot and sensitive skin. I always have to go to a shoe specially store and pay mega bucks for a pair of shoes. But the shoes are Wal-Mart are not strong and sturddy and will kill your feet so I would recommend purchasing just a few pairs of shoes each year from a good well known shoe store. Have you heard the latest and seen the latest email about Wal-Mart shoes and the infections they caused people? I personally do not shop at Wal-Mart with all of the bad things that have been going on in their stores and their poor quality of merchandise. Avoid Wal-Mart at all costs!

This is my experience with Wal-Mart vs. Name Brand.
Walmart--$20 shoes that wear out every 2 months= $120 a year
Name brand= $60-$80 shoes that last a year= $60-$80/yr

The choice for me is clear. Although I don't know how fast you people go through shoes.

Ive bought plenty of my daughters shoes at walmart.  I used to work at a name brand shoe store and parents brought in shoes that havnt even lasted a month!

I personally buy walmart brand especially for kids because they go through them so fast anyways.

do NOT buy shoes,skateboards, or anything else like that from wal mart! its cheap stuff and your kids bill be made fun of at school! stick with the name brands even though they r a lil more expensive but hey, u can use some money u made on here can u?

For myself for work I get the cheapest Walmart shoes I can find since they are going to get destroyed. 3 or 4 pairs of $10 shoes a year is cheaper. Other than work I wear nothing but the same pair of sandals I have had for about 5 years. They are indestructible.

i buy anything i can find the cheapest, which i usually don't find too many deals that beat out walmart, and i love hand-me-downs..........my baby isn't even born yet and they already have more clothes than me....ok well almost as many...and they're all hand-me-downs and all in good condition, i haven't accumulated too many pairs of shoes yet, but i will!

I love to buy flip flops are Wal-mart.  They are cheaper but still just as good and are generally pretty cute.  But honestly I am more of a Payless kinda girl myself

I don't have kids yet, howevr, when I do I will not but walmart clothes for them. They won't get 150.00 shoes, but they will be name brand.

I buy the name brand shoes for my daughter. The name brand shoes last alot longer than the cheap shoes, and i buy shoes online, just do a google search and you will find great deals on name brands up to 25% off and have fast free shipping.

I got walmart shoes for work, since they I work in a messy environment. When I am out, I prefer name brand (Vans, DC, Etines)
