Topic: Does anyone live in a city that has a chicken or a duck as a pet for eggs?  (Read 724 times)

We can have one or two chickens for pet/eggs.  The duck's eggs has more protein. Do you think they should be quiet after 10:00 p.m. and not before 8:00 a.m.  lol

Not here in the burbs of Cedar Rapids, Iowa... but at my wife's mom's house in Thailand, they have chickens and ducks...

we don't have any at this time but several of our neighbors have chickens we are seriously planning to get some nextspring the town where I live allows up to 6 chickens but no roosters  and also allows rabbits

My brother has a ton of chickens and ducks.  Both lay eggs.  The duck just hatched 11 babies.  :)  Yay!
As far as I know they are pretty quite.  I have never heard them make any noise except the ducks when the kids are following them around or if the big scary dog (that wouldn't hurt a flea) gets too close. lol
