Lost my day job!

Well, I knew it was coming, but there it went! I babysat a school-aged child during the summer, and they are going back to school next week! So there goes my day job! Bummer! Anyone else out there in this situation?

Yes I agree with the other poster.   What about after school babysitting?   I am sure some parents will still your service or what about smaller children 1 or 2 who do not go to school ?

Be encouraged!  There are many teachers out there like me who are just going back to work and we need child care!  Hopefully something opens up for you fast!

So sorry to hear about your job loss.  If you can't find anything right away, you could try going through a temp agency. Or think about volunteering your services to keep your skills sharp and network.

Sorry about losing your job.  How about applying at a day care center, or watching younger children.

My sister watches children before and after school during the school year, in addition to watching a younger child during the day. I hope something turns up for you.

   Look for some other summer jobs. The ones that end with the arrival of winter.

Well no because I am on disability but have been there - one of my last jobs ended after five years which caused me to have to commute three towns away to get a new job.  My sons are in same position as you but have found some decent stuff to do online.  Well good luck! Something will work out for you I'm sure
