I can't believe the performance Miley Cyrus did on the VMA.  I believe the network should have censored her performance.  Just goes to show how vulgar our youth have become and it is being accepted.  I knew Billy Ray and Tish before Billy Ray became "famous".  Needless to say, Miley (or Ariel, as her real name use to be) is her mother's daughter.  Tish use to do a well known pole dance at a local strip club before she & Billy Ray hooked up.

The bad thing about the whole thing is she is getting exactly what she wanted - A Whole LOT of Publicity!
She doesn't make enough money to pay for ALL the publicity she has gotten and yet top get (they haven't put out the front of magazine covers yet) for acting that way. I heard Justin Timberlake's performance was just as bad, but haven't heard what he did and frankly do not even care

Right now i am glad i now have any young ones that might of thought of her as an idol. I only saw a little and it was disgusting. Do not know why the station did not bleep it out.  I for one will no longer watch anything she has going on let a lone buy any thing.

I didn't see it live but have seen clips here and there on the news and pics on tv.  Seems like I remember hearing that about her mom.  They said she was in the front row cheering her on.  I can't think of any words that make it bad enough.  But the really sad thing is the one pic the showed of her with her back to the audience and bent over and her butt in the air the people in the background seemed to be enjoying it.  We live in a sick twisted society.  Twenty years ago that would have immediately been censored and went to commercial.  I am just left shaking my head.  And after the show her dad tweeted 'so many blessings and so much to be thankful for'.  Left me wondering if he secretly knows he is not really her father. lol
