I read a lot of books when I was a kid, but I have to say the one that sticks is Little Women by Louisa M. Alcott.( I hope I spelled that right) Anyway, I think I got it in the second or third grade and that is one I will go back to time and time again.

I remember being so proud of myself by finishing Little Women when I was younger because it was the longest book I had read, up until that point.  I also go back to it and re-read it occasionally.

R.L. Stine books... ha, ha, ha... that was sooo long ago. I used to read all the time from scary stories to fairytales... but then I started having wierd dreams and later realized that it was because I read sooo much that my imagination was running double time...    ;D

Red Badge of Courage,  when I read that book it made me want to read more like it because the way it was written makes you smell the smoke and feel it burning your eyes.  My second favorite is a Rose in Winter, same thing you can visualize the scenes in the book.

The first book I read that made me love to read was Who Stole My Cheese by Spencer Johnson.
"Make the most of every opportunity"
