some people like to read some like to write..you?

And what's your favorite thing to do? I love to read just about anything interesting and that can make me imagine being there...in the moment then other times I like to be the one writing whatever comes to mind it never really comes out to be novel lenght or good but I still like to do it. What do you preferr?

i've never been confident with writing. i feel like i'm really bad at it, lol.

I used to think I could write (poetry and the like), but my strength is really only in academic writing now. (Useful for my career, but not that interesting!)

I do love to read though, and always have!

I like to read a lot. I like finding that good book, getting a glass of wine, get into my do not disturb mode and seat on the couch or in my room and read my book. Writing I enjoy occasionally.

I like both. I love to read different kind of books and also very interesting writing on a book. Even though my college days are over long ago and Iam a housewife I still have a passion for writing.

An aunt was here this weekend (in her 80's) and said she just couldn't imagine people getting bored. There is so much to do and so many skills you can learn.

I love to read. I just LOVE to read. I don't like to write, though. I like to make up stories, and people tell me that when I DO write, I'm good at it. But I just hate the "transferring an idea to paper" part.

Looks like books will not fade away as some have predicted.  I also love to read - too much.  I can just sit and read anywhere anytime anything.  Favorites are old books with a historical thread though.

I have always been a reader but wanted to write.  When I was younger I kept poems but never thought they were any good.  Now I wish I had kept them as I have started writing again and realize that my only hindrance is myself.

Even now I must overcome my negativity thinking no one will read or it is dumb or I should not be doing this. 

If we want to write because it relieves pain, anger, or makes us happy, we should just do it without being so cynical of ourselves. I found the more we do it the better we become at it.

So if you want to write just start doing it.  I have a problem with keeping notes. I tend to leave them everywhere.  I need to get a little recorder especially for when I am in the car that is when the most vision comes of course.  But just got to blogger in gmail and start blogging about anything.

Here is a poem I wrote:

HE is there!
Although you cannot see Him,
HE is there!

Although you may not hear Him,
HE is there!

Although you cannot touch Him,
HE is there!

Open your eyes do you see the butterfly?

Shhh, listen do you hear the wind?

Reach out your hand do you feel the grass?

He IS THERE!
