You guys ready for the Christmas Holiday?
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:57:53 am »
Honestly, I'm not!

My sister and his family are in Spain so its not as fun without them. They're gonna be back home in February so we're pushing back Christmas on February. Haha!!

I'm already trying to figure out what to get the family for Christmas though.
I'm thinking of just hand making some stuff since I'm broke. Ha!

My grandchildren are grown and the great grandchildren I hardly see so there isn't many to buy for at Christmas anymore.  My kids really don't need anything.

Christmas, ha, I'm still working on Halloween.  I'm hoping to find a cool design to put on my pumpkin still yet alone do other things.  My family will be asking what I want soon enough and I never have a good answer for that though I may have a few things in mind this year.  It's still so hectic though that I'm more concerned with what's happening today and tomorrow to be worried about a few months from now.

I love Christmas, and I love giving, but unfortunately this year I am not ready for Christmas. I have too many expenses, and not enough time to save up for all of my Christmas presents.

Not at all!  Wish I were, I have only bought one small present that I came across.  I really would like to get done earlier this year.  It's really a zoo at the end. :o

I remember one time when I was in 6th grade. My sister and I with my cousins went Trick or Treating in her town and we were going down the stairs of their apartment and we saw this guy who was just sitting down with his eyes closed. He was wearing camo and his face was painted in camo too. We just ignored him, but as we got closer to go down the other side of the stairs, he yelled and we ran. LOL!

it is nice to be able to push Christmas back to February so you can take advantage of after Christmas sales since you don't have any money.

I love Christmas but I am never ready for it.  I am always running around at the last minute trying to get everything done.  It's hard to believe that it's less than 3 months away.
