Task participation is ridiculous.
« on: October 07, 2013, 10:06:07 am »
When FC came up with idea to reward the top 2 task earners for the month I did believe that this was a good idea. This would give everyone an incentive to participate more on FC and complete more tasks. However, no matter how much I participate or how many tasks I complete I will never be anywhere near the top. Also I would like to point out that if the same people win the dining prize every month it takes the fun out of this incentive for the rest of the FC Community. Hopefully everyone will continue to participate in completing tasks, and whoever won the task prize last month and the month before that do not win it this month.

As long as the top folks are cheating some how they should be able to win every month - they are willing to put in the time. Maybe they can add a third bonus for the month's top "Rookie" the highest individual who hasn't won a prize before.

Yea something is going on. I guess if they did put in the time, they would earn the most, but I cannot sit in front of a computer for 4, 5 . or 6 hours daily completing tasks.

I have been lucky enough to crack the lists a couple of times this month and let me tell you, it takes a lot of hours for the small amount I have. If others choose to put in the time, they should be rewarded; even if it's every month.

I like the tasks themselves, it helps my earnings increase even if just a little each day. Unfortunately I will never be on top of that list or even in the top 10. I will keep trying though. I agree that others should have the opportunity to win but I also agree that if a couple people want to spend their time being in the top two then they deserve the prize. That is only if they are doing it legitimately and there is no cheating involved.

I know exactly how you feel. Last month I was #3 on the Leader board. I tried so hard last month and never came close to #1 or #2.  :BangHead:   :BangHead:
So far this month I'm #4.  :BangHead: And that really is a miracle of God. Just happen to get about 180 tasks to do and 10 videos yesterday and today, and have worked VERY HARD and many hours doing them.
I have decided not to enter the chase to be #1 or #2 this month. It's way ttttooo frustrating  :BangHead: and I already work long and hard on here to bring in the little I do every month.
I agree though that the incentive should be passed around to others...but maybe that's coz I haven't made it to the #1 or #2 SINCE the contest began, I have made #1 a couple of times before and I was #1 in July- just alittle too early for the contest.  :sad1:
Who knows maybe I would feel different if I had made or was  #1 or #2.  :dontknow:
IT'S ALL GOOD though... just do what you can and don't look at the Leader Board to see how far you have to go before you can get there. Do what you can do...stressing over it will just produce bad feelings.
Wish 'em well and continue on!

This is a hoot!! I never even knew there was a prize for the 'top achievers' or the dining out prize... ignorance can be blissful at times!!  ;D

I belong to another site that has a contest for the top 30 (not a task contest) but the top prize is about $4 and the bottom 10  get around .02-.03.

Spreading the prize money around does keep the interest up and when the same people win the top prizes, it is discouraging for the rest of the players.

I understand your frustration because I've attempted this feat as well, and like you, with no success. Truth is some people have/invest more time than others and so they deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. If needed FC could possibly create additional offers or incentives that are more attainable.

I do some tasks but I am no where close to the top 5. If they are willing and able to earn that much on tasks then congrats to them. They deserve it.

All I can say is more power to them. I have sat and tried doing them in the past and have gotten away from them, it seems like it is sooo time consuming for the little that you get for completing them. So if those people can sit there all that time then I guess they have earned it!

I usually only bother with them if someone has mentioned something about a high-paying task or if I need to earn more to qualify for paid to click, or am bored which rarely happens.

If someone has the patience to do the tasks for six-eight hours a day (which is what I imagine it takes to be a top earner) then I think they deserve an extra prize. It shouldn't matter if the same people are win each month, because they definitely earned it.
