What is the best Halloween costume you have ever seen or worn?

Halloween is just around the corner and there will be plenty of creative costumes out there. One of the best costumes I have ever seen was at a Halloween party I went to in college. There was a young woman dressed as a TOOTH! She paper maiched a  white  sheet in the shape of a tooth to form around her body and she wore white tights as the roots of the tooth. It was pretty awesome.

I once won a costume contest by dressing in drag... Since my last name is the same as a woman's first name, that became the inspiration for my alter ego. That and I had been a lab assistant at a local community college, and was horrified with how many of the women would dress with tight, low cut jeans and t-shirts with their midriff showing (not to mention the "whale-tails" hanging out the back). And at this school, there's about a 4:1 ratio between female to male students, so I'm still unsure who they were trying to impress. So for my costume, I wore a denim mini-skirt (complete with a white "male-hammock" showing out the back), sky-blue flip-flops (with my toe nails (as well as my finger nails) painted the same color), a shirt? that just had fabric in the front and tied behind my back and neck (baring my fuzzy navel), a purse and silk scarf also in the light-blue color pallet, and topped off with a long, blonde wig.

What's really sad about that costume was how many people were actually fooled with it. The bartender had no clue who I was until he asked for my ID... Then he did a double-take, and confided that he was wondering to himself who that ugly chick was... Another drunk guy also asked for my name later in the night, and I replied "Stephanie" in my regular, male voice, and his friend had to bail him out telling him "It's a dude in a costume, you idiot!"

A few years ago, I saw this guy who had made his costume. He made a costume of the creature from that movie The Village. The movie wasn't good, but the guy's costume was great! He did a really good job!

I think the best one I seen are Santa Claus, Bender, Tetris pieces, and Pac man and the three ghost... I like it when there is a group costume

My favorite Halloween costume when I was a child was when I dressed as Jem.  Jem was a character on my favorite cartoon.  My mom sewed me the best hot pink costume!  The year that I dressed as Jem was one of my favorite Halloweens.

When I was driving home today I saw a streetbiker dressed as a banana. The banana's stem was flopping in the breeze. It was hilarious.

The costumes we were gonna get last year (but didn't have enough time to). My boyfriend and myself were going to dress up as 2 slices of bacon and we were gonna dress our daughter up as a fried egg lol
