I don't know what your experience will be, but college was like high school for me, but the teachers actually treated me like a human in college.

Talk to people in your classes and learn about the school through them.  I had people tell me that one colleges advisers was not that great and that I should talk to another set and after I picked my degree, I found out that the classes the first adviser told me to take were way above my level and shouldn't be taken at the same time.

If you know what you want to do, try to get into an internship program as soon as possible.  Internships are a great way to get an actual job after school, and then you'll have a foot into the career you want before you are out on your own.  Plus, you get a test of what a real job will be like, so if you hate it, you can change your focus a few years in instead of after paying for a degree in something you hate.

Again, if you know what you want to do, consider looking up some job wanted ads for that job and see what they want you to know.  My career wants me to have a portfolio of previous work.  Had I known, I could've been working on it while in college instead of while I'm trying to find a job.

THank you! I definitely am trying to get an internship. Hopefully something close to nutrition
