timing
« on: October 16, 2013, 05:56:03 am »
is everything. it makes a difference. a blind man lives in  my apartment building. he has trained himself to go to the outdoor pool and swim.  there are workmen painting the building. I can see them from my window. I was able to call someone to keep him from having an accident.

Your timing more than likely saved that blind man from severe injury. Good for you! My brother-in-law's father was blind and counting was the key for his mobility. He knew the exact number of steps to all the little routes around his house and yard. He also knew the number of steps (which included stairways) at favorite stores and restaurants.
