I think I broke the top of my foot....

No, I have yet to break a bone, let alone sprain anything. I have gotten my fair share of bumps and bruises and scratches and rashes, however.

I have broken my toe before but nothing else.    2 weeks ago my daughter fell off of the ladder of her loft bed and broke the bone just above her elbow and her wrist....Its been a rough couple of weeks for her.  She had to have surgery on it to put pins around the elbow to keep it in place.  We go back to the Dr next week!

I had a hairline fracture in a finger and that is all and for such a small thing it hurt.  And it had a splint on it so then it was hard for me to shower or do some other things because it was my right hand and I'm right handed.  So that was bad enough so I glad I never broke anything else.

I fractured the top of my foot a few years back.  I was moving a motorcycle jack when it dropped down on my foot.  It swelled up in a matter of minutes and the bruises were all in the area of my arch and ankle bone.  What made all that better for me (if that's even possible, LOL) was when I went to the foot doctor he put me in a boot.  It was fantastic!  In a boot, you can actually walk on the foot (without crutches, which I HATE) because the sole of the boot is made to roll and you're actually not putting any pressure on the foot itself.  Hope you get yours checked out soon!!

Nope, I have never broken any bones....I hope you go and get it checked out.....just wondering how did the accident happen...

I have never broke a bone but have had 2 hir line fractures on the top of my feet. Both time the doctors said it would have been better if it broke. As it was i had to wear boot casts both times. Then i had a car wreck and had sever hair line cracks in my back. I happened in 1986 and i am still paying for it. At least if it had broke they could have done surgery but then again i may not still be walking either. But you should have it looked at.

My sister broke her finger by completely shutting it in the car door.  My mum opened the door when she realised what had happened, my sister hadn't dare move in case it got more painful. As it was, it was so painful she passed out on the concrete and they had to call an ambulance for fear of concussion.

Sorry to say I have broken several toes and my ankle. You may have a bad sprain.They can hurt just as bad and limit your mobility. None the less, if you suspect  it may be broken you should have it checked it. Good Luck

Officially, no, but unofficially I think I fractured my tail bone and a big toe, in separate home accidents, when I was a teen.  Too bad my mom was too inept to schedule me doctor's appointments to verify them.  With her it was either the hospital or nothing.

Now I'm scared...it's been about 3 weeks....we brought the kayak on shore 'cuz we over shot our pull in and had to go back.  We thought we'd drag it in the water 'cuz our arms were tired.  I thought my dad was going to take it out farther in the water, but turned quick and a wave took it right up over the top of my foot.  Swelled immediately with *bleep* scratches.  Hurt bad.  Several days later my toes turned blue/green.  Now I can't wear shoes on top of it and the bones stick up funny....I'll go soon and let you know!

My sister used to work at the MRI lab at SHARP and she told me that this lady walked in to get an exam and was given a MRI. She said that her had was about to snap off but she was walking fine and if anything, she would have been paralyzed without her knowing.

She said the lady got it from surfing and she ended up getting a whiplash from the waves after she got knocked from it. And that's what caused it.

I'm extremely clumsy and have yet to break or sprain anything. I drop heavy objects on myself, fall, run into things, fall down steps, etc almost on a daily basis and have yet to cause serious harm to myself

That sounds very painful! Fortunately I have never broken a bone!!! But I AM very clumsy!!
