I knew a person who was #15 of 16 kids.  Her parents were in their late 40's when she was born.  Two of her siblings were in college.  If you'd like to have another child, age shouldn't stop you.

I don't think it's crazy, I have a friend who just had her baby at 41. if you are able to and can afford it, I say would not, after all it's your life.

My mother had my sister at 37 and me at 40.  I don't see any reason why you can't have a child.  If you want to give birth to the child, they might tell you it's a bad idea, but really it won't be too bad.  You have a higher chance of diseases I believe, but with modern medicine, I'm sure you can get the necessary nutrients to lower the chance of them.

If you just want to raise another child though, you could always adopt.  Maybe consider an older child since they rarely get a second chance after a certain age (at least that's what I hear).

I don't think it is crazy.  I think most people have that thought go through their head at one time or another.  I am 28 and haven't had any kids yet but I truly hope I do one day.

You could always adopt. I have two children. My youngest was born of me being close to 39.
