The Assassination of President Kennedy
« on: November 14, 2013, 06:20:11 pm »
I am watching The Assassination of President Kennedy on CNN.  Do you remember where you were, if you were born before then, when that happened?  I was working in Richmond, VA, at the old Virginia State Library, and my husband called me and told me.  At the time, I thought it was so outrageous, I believed it was a joke or a hoax that someone started.

I was 5 years old when it happened.  It has been 50 years since it happened.  I have heard several things about it, but I am sorry he died.

I was only a year and half old when it happened so I don't remember anything when it actually happened.  Have relived it year after year since then.  I still wonder who was really responsible.  The latest documentary I saw on his assassination said it was the KGB that was responsible.  I have often wondered how things may have been if he had not been assassinated.  Marilyn may still be alive if...
Have a wonderful day!

I was in school, it was announced over the Public Address system. Being young and ignorant some of the students seemed happy about it. Remarkable how impressionable kids are!

I remember exactly where I was.  I was in class in Elementary School when they announced it and sent all of us home.  It was a very sad day, indeed.

As a matter of fact, and speaking of Kennedy's murder, there's a new book out about it that I'd like to read.  It's called "Who Really Killed Kennedy?" by Jerome R. Corsi.  It sounds like a great book.

Oh yeah was almost home . Brought my youngest boy home from the hospital that day. He was born Nov. 20 1963. When we heard it on the radio. Quite a shocker.
