Referral Issues

I referred a friend yesterday from Canada. I am in the US. But the bonus for him signing up and completing an offer never appeared. I have over 200 referrals so I know he has to confirm his email and all that. I am just wondering if him being in Canada is stopping me from getting the referral credit from him. After all, he could be lying. Ya' never know nowadays!
