it lists the account balance as 0 dollars until you:

1) provide a bank account and or "credit/debit" card
2) make a deposit from that account (at 1.5%) of at least 10 bucks
3) use the card

im not very happy with this one, i tell people good things about this site, and i hate to see a scam get slipped through

i don't know why it did that to you. i seen someone also say they had to fax in things.... all i did was sign up enter my phone number. got the call hit yes i wanted to get the card. and then when i signed into the account i had the 10.00 there. i never added anying banking info or anything. then i sent out invites for others to get the card so that i would get the 5.00 for each one who got the card and so far my account is up to 65.00 from the free 10.00 and people getting the card from my invites. i think this is one of these bedst offers ever on here!!!

I have to agree - this  is the best deal I have ever seen!!  $15.00 just for applying for the card through Fusion.  ($5 from Fusion and $10 from Obopay)  Not to mention the referrals!!  Can't get any easier than that!!!

FYI to everyone that already has Obopay - the site says the referrals offer is going to end in December.  I checked with Customer Service and they said that as of right  now that is the case but it may be extended - so if you have anyone you want to refer do it now - no reason to miss out on this!!

thanks for the responses, everyone.   i wonder why they wanted to do that to me specifically.   maybe theres a red flag on my name or something!   ha ha

let me know if anyone hears why they were doing that.   i dont feel right referring people to that offer, just seems weird.

i think some people's info maynot be matching up with what they see with the info they get to check your id.. i had no problem at all or had to add any bank from the door, my hubby ether, but my sister did. she had to call n give more info.

you can... call the number on the site after u activate your card and tell them you want to set up direct depo. they will then give you your account n routeing #. just put it in for direct depo for fusioncash, and as far as the post above this... your card will come.. and accountnow has highhh fees.... if you want a GOOD prepaid card other then obopay... go to netspend.com and get a allaccess visa card.

no paypal is not better.. paypal tranfers from paypal r insteat with no fees... but obopay tranfers from an obopay account are to with no fees... obopay has NO fees at all. only fees you pay is atm fee if you use an atm. and that is the fee the atm charges. obopay don't charge you anything them selves. as far as direct depo.. paypal n obopay take the same amount of time. also.. you get your obopay card in a few weeks.. if you r just joining paypal you have to wait 3 month before you can even request to get their debit card.

i signed my fiancee' up under me on obopay and all he had to do was apply for the mastercard then send money to someone which was me.(lol) and he had $10 bucks in his account he is now waiting for his card
