New Years Resolution Time
« on: December 28, 2013, 09:09:38 am »
Has anyone given any thought to what the new year resolutions?  I know it is early but I have given a little thought to it:
1. Eat less, exercise more....I really did the Paula Deen/Julia Child thing this Christmas and used a lot alot of butter!
2. Clean out and get rid of stuff from one drawer, box or closet every week.  I have way to much stuff!
3.  Call a relative or friend once a week...someone that I don't talk to much but would love to be closer with.

What are your top three?

I don't really do new years resolutions but I like your 3 choices.

My NYR is to find a job! I've been lazy and I blame myself for being lazy.
I will try my very best to not be lazy this coming year. It's hard to break this habbit.

Only one--STAY PERFECT!--but I might could break it into three.
  • Do nothing 'of yourself'---It's not I who is perfect, but Our Father whom I pattern-after.
  • Get a wife---If I'm so perfect, why aren't women fighting over me?
  • Have at least one kid---even though everything I do is perfect, it seems weak unless I can train younglings to follow my pattern (as I follow Our Father's).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's what a Pharisee might say today. You now have the chance to respond as my mentor Jesus-of-Joseph would, and I pray that you will!
