I am going out. I usually stay in but now I feel like my parents finally don't care what I do with my life now that I'm about to graduate college. (I come home for the holidays).

We may go over to our neighbors but that really depends on if my kids are with me or not.  I had a conversation with my son the other day about New Years and he thought it was mandatory for him to be with his family.  I told him that he'll get to an age where he can choose what he wants to do and who he wants to spend his time with.  He's only 14 now - so the mere fact he still wants to be with his family on new years is touching.  We'll see how long that lasts.

Three years ago we started a new tradition in our family for New Year's.  We all get together and hang out at our house on the river, all the kids and grandkids.  We play games and roast marshmallows over a bonfire, and go fishing, weather permitting.  We light sparklers at midnight and create memories for years to come.

I will be home with my animals and probably watching a movie.  I will probably be in bed before midnight, as this is my least favorite holiday.  January 1 will just be the next day. :'(

I will be staying home.  I am single and I don't have anyone to go out with.  It would be nice to go out and celebrate, but won't happen this year.

Last year I was seeing (and experiencing) fireworks at New Year's, but not this time.  I really want to spend time seeing them, but there is no one with me right now (a bit lonely)...

I so want be home...I cannot wait to get stuck in traffic!!  Sorry for you though...I wish you could go out, but as long as its memorable.  The 1st few seconds of the New Year are ultra important.  That and washing clothes and dishes on the 30th or whatever.  Anyway, Happy New Year!

Staying home i like to relax on new years not really big fan of dealing with traffic or the rude people who are always out on that day and night. Kinda annoying to me

Planning on staying home, relaxing and watching TV.  People on New Year's Eve can get a little crazy and I would rather not be around them at that time.   :peace:
