I don't use Twitter. I just cannot see what interest anybody would have in knowing anything about what I am up to and I really don't have any desire to read constant bulletins about what somebody else is doing.

That would depend on whether or not you're a fan of someone, like Britney Spears, Asthon Kutcher, Tom Hanks, and many other celebrities use twitter.

That's one thing, but wanting updates of what some random person from a website forum is doing is just creepy. Only topped by the desire to want other random people to know what you are doing.

I think of all the websites - facebook, myspace & twitter - pretty sure I'm most addicted to TWITTER!! hahah I love it!

i use myspace and facebook - i have a twitter but the moment i signed up, it looked like  seriouly, it looked like the dumbest idea EVER. idk how the guy(s) who invented it made it popular, seriously. i hate it i'm prolly gonna delete it soon

I have never gone on the website.  I have heard that just about everyone does it.  I watched the new show Hammertime and he does that every time he makes a move.  It kind of made the program a little boring.

Why do you post on these forums?  Using your impression of Twitter, you're only posting here to waste your life and nobody really cares what you're saying.  We know that's not true, or great numbers of people wouldn't bother with forums.

Twitter is THE fastest form of communication and method of spreading news at the moment.  It is THE fastest way to share a new blog post, share an interesting blog post, a website you want to share, anything.  It is currently one of THE easiest, and best, ways to market anything...be it GPT links, your blog, your website, an article you wrote, an affiliate program, etc.

It's kind of funny to see people blow it off as if it's nothing, when you have bloggers/webmasters driving thousands of visitors to their blogs/websites with Twitter, and making thousands of dollars because of Twitter (I'm not exaggerating).  Perhaps look at the big picture, not blow it off as if people are only on Twitter to see random updates from celebrities.  It's a hell of a lot more than that.  Those who embrace new Web 2.0 developments are the one's who benefit.  If you wish to see examples, I'll happily provide them.
